Unfortunately, Cañon City Geology Club's Pebble Pups is inactive at the present time while we look for a new leader for the program. See below two files. One is an article written by Steven Marquez. He is a 13 year-old pebble pup who is quite serious. The second article is about the pebble pups working at the Cripple Creek District Museum. A number of them interned in the museum and earned certificates of training. These certificates verify a specific set of job skills that they now have.
Also read on in the museum article and you will see a description of our program. The reason for that is to add to our ranks of distance students. At the present time we have 4. One of our distance students just completed a dinosaur biology course with a university, and he is only 13. I have met him once and that was 4 years ago. He continues to pay dues.
