CCGC AUCTION
Cañon City Geology Club had a fund raiser auction on September 14. It was a great success! The funds raised will provide educational programs and field trips for members of all ages. We want to thank all donors, supporters, bidders and volunteers that helped to make this auction a success.
WOW!!! These items from around the world have been donated for our auction: Jurassic ammonite from England, Cretaceous fossil shrimp from Lebanon; Flourite from Idaho; amethyst from New Hope Claim, Fremont County, Colorado; double terminated milky quartz on smoky quartz from Joe Dorris' Hilltop claim, Teller County, Colorado; grossular garnet from Lake Jaco, Mexico; ammonites from Morocco.
